Stitch settings

Object Properties → Stitch settings shows the effective values for the selection; changing one overrides the document default for those objects (↺ goes back to inheriting). Document defaults are in Settings → Document stitch defaults. Fabric presets set density, underlay and pull compensation for common fabrics. - Satin density and Fill density: spacing between stitch rows (mm); smaller = denser. - Pull comp: widens satins so they do not shrink when sewn. - Underlay: stitches sewn first to stabilise the fabric (center run, edge run, zigzag). - Max stitch: long stitches are split; Run stitch: running stitch length. - Tie in / Tie off: lock stitches; Trim jumps over: jumps longer than this are trimmed.
