Quilt Block Center

• Quilt on the ribbon (or the Quilting toolbox). Start from a library block or a blank grid.
• Paint fabric: click patches. Piecing: choose a unit (half-square triangle, quarter-square triangle, flying geese, square in a square, snowball, corner, strips) and click a square; click again to turn it. Merge / split: drag across squares to make one piece.
• Set the finished size and seam allowance: the cutting chart and yardage update. Print cutting sheet & templates makes a PDF. Save to My blocks keeps the block.
• Make in-the-hoop design: a new design whose color stops are the steps (batting, placement and tack-down for each fabric, quilting, satin seam covers, cut line).
• Quilting fill (Quilting toolbox): fill the selected closed shapes, or the whole hoop, with stipple, meander, echo, crosshatch, grid, diagonal lines, waves, clamshells, pebbles or a spiral.
