Choosing a hoop for your machine

• Click Hoop on the ribbon (or open the Hoops docker on the right).
• Choose your machine maker; the list shows its hoops with their sewing fields (the area the needle can reach).
• Tick Only hoops this design fits to see which hoops the current design fits in, either way round.
• Rotate turns the hoop between portrait and landscape.
• Round and oval hoops are drawn as they are; a design must fit inside the curve, not just the box.
• Add a custom hoop for magnetic frames or anything not in the list: give it a name, width, height and shape.

Sizes come from the makers' charts. Some models list a slightly smaller field, so check your manual for big designs.
