Starting, saving and opening designs

• New design: File → New, the New button on the ribbon, or Ctrl+N.
• Open: File → Open (Embella .embella designs and machine files such as PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, HUS, VIP and more). Opened machine files are plain stitches; see "Recognize objects".
• Save: File → Save (.embella keeps everything editable). Save to path lets you type a location.
• Several designs can be open at once; each has a tab above the canvas. Click a tab to switch, × to close it.
• If a red banner says "Embella needs a restart", close the black Embella command window (or end python in Task Manager) and start Embella again.
