Stitch types

Choose the stitch type in the Digitize box before drawing; change it later in Object Properties. - Lines and outlines (gallery): Single run, Triple run (bean stitch, bold), Backstitch, Stem stitch, Zigzag, Blanket, Saddle (bold dashes with gaps), Motif (a repeating pattern). Settings under the gallery: Width, Spacing / Repeat, Dash / Gap, Motif, and Path: Once, Backtrack (there and back, ends where it started) or Repeat (sewn twice). - Multi-run: several running lines side by side (Lines = how many, Width = total spread); with tapers they draw together into points at the ends. Sewn in one pass, no trims. - Satin: lines become a satin column of the set Width; closed shapes are filled with satin. - Tatami: a fill for enclosed areas. - Appliqué: placement line, stop, tack-down, stop, satin cover. - Artwork: plain vector shapes with no stitches (convert them later). - Changing a line's style: select it; Object Properties shows "Outline stitch" with the same gallery and settings.
