Motifs and the motif editor

• Motif is a line style that repeats a small pattern (diamond, wave, loop, Greek key, heart, leaf, star…). Pick it in the gallery, choose the motif and its Width and Repeat length.
• Motif editor (Digitize box or Design menu): click inside the cell to add points (left to right), drag to move, right-click a point to delete it. The start and end are fixed so repeats join. Name it and Save; your motifs are marked ★ and kept on this computer.
